Our world desperately needs peace. Today we share with you the regular parts of the Holy Mass. with this title, composed by a Dominican from Krakow, Father Dawid Kusz.

This composition was written especially for this year’s Extraordinary Music Workshops, organized by our Foundation in Krakow. More than 350 people gathered for this annual celebration of liturgical music in Krakow’s St. Peter’s Basilica prayed with her singing. Trinity. Where did the idea for this musical form come from? – I wanted to write set parts whose form is similar to the short forms of several bars that can be found in the Niepojęta Trójco songbook – says the composer. – However, I used more diverse techniques that are not available in the masses found in the “Trinity”, such as imitations (including the canon – Sanctus, Agnus Dei) or the “wandering” cantus firmus (Kyrie eleison).

The name was suggested by one of the choristers from the Sancta Trinitas chamber choir, led by Father Kusz, saying that when you listen to the sounds of this Mass, they bring peace. It was this vocal group that made the recording we share with you today. We encourage you to listen and pray to this beautiful music, as well as to perform it in your parishes and communities.
