Dr. Elena Bird Zolnick

Dr. Elena Bird Zolnick is an American soprano, conductor and teacher. She received her Doctorate in Voice Performance and Choral Conducting from the University of Minnesota, where she studied under the guidance of Jane Giering-DeHaan, Kathy Salzman Romey and Matthew Mehaffey.

Prior to that she graduated with a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from Florida State University, and with her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Elena is currently the Director of Sacred Music at the St. Paul Seminary at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she leads three choral ensembles and teaches voice and various elements of musical leadership.
