Yesterday, the canonical visitation of the Dominican monastery in Krakow by the Master of the Order, Father Gerard Timoner OP, began. Our Foundation, which has been operating at the monastery on Stolarska Street for years, was the first institution he visited.
Father Gerard, together with his associates, Father Alain Arnould OP from Belgium and Father Jamshed Gill OP from Pakistan, spent the morning getting to know our team, listening to stories about our activities and encouraging even wider involvement in liturgical formation.
Thanks to the general visitations, the entire Order of Preachers – nuns, brothers and lay Dominicans – have the opportunity to deepen their awareness of mission in the spirit of Saint. Dominica. Dominican-led institutions, such as our Foundation, also have the opportunity to renew their sense of inclusion in the Dominican mission to proclaim the Gospel everywhere, to everyone and in all ways.
