Liturgical music from our music albums has recently become available as part of various praylists in the Hallow app.
“Did you know that by listening to music you can get closer to God?” – write the authors of the application. “At Hallow you will find many different genres of music to suit your needs. Today we have released new praylists: with Marian music and a chorale performed by the Austrian Heiligenkreuz choir. Their songs will be a great variety to your prayer, and we know perfectly well that whoever sings prays twice. Praise God with Marian songs from Hallow.
In the application you can find a praylist covering events in the life of Mary from the Annunciation to the Coronation as the queen of heaven and earth performed by various artists as part of the library of the Dominican Liturgical Center Foundation. A praylist is a playlist proposed as a background or inspiration for prayer.
We are pleased to be in the company of the Heiligenkreuz choir, composed of almost 100 Cistercians from the Austrian Wienerwald, and their monastic spirituality expressed in Gregorian chant, and we are pleased with the ongoing cooperation with Hallow. As the authors write about themselves, “Hallow is the #1 Catholic prayer and meditation app with hundreds of prayers, music, guided meditations, sleep content and more.” The application can be downloaded for free from the Apple AppStore or the Google Play store.
