Oh, that birth forever blessed
when the virgin, full of grace,
by the Holy Ghost conceiving,
bore the Savior of our race,
and the babe, the world’s Redeemer,
first revealed his sacred face
evermore and evermore.
(Aurelius Prudentius, tr. John M. Neale)

Dear Friends,

This Christmas, when our worn-out world may still feel far from normal, the Liturgy of the Church invites us once again to rejoice in the fact of facts: not only the Father’s love has not abandoned us, but the One begotten before the worlds began to be, the Word of the Father, revealed his sacred face as one of us, a weak human being, in the midst of this world’s ills and confusions. May you always contemplate this sacred face of God-made-man, and may you find hope and strength in his loving gaze!

On behalf of the Dominican Liturgical Center of Krakow friars and staff I would like to wish you and your loved ones a truly blessed Christmas. May the Prince of Peace take away fear and anxiety, and may this time of his Nativity be an occasion of joy and fellowship.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Fr. Lukasz Misko, OP
with the DLC friars and staff

P.S. Even though our recently released Christmas album is entirely in Polish, we hope this joy filled music’s language is international. You may listen to it here:
